The Egg and Spoon Race is pure, nostalgic chaos in the best possible way. It’s the kind of game everyone thinks will be easy… until they’re halfway across the lawn concentrating like it’s an Olympic final. Each player balances an egg on a spoon and races to the finish line without dropping it – simple in theory, hilarious in reality. It’s brilliant for getting guests involved, sparks a bit of friendly competition, and always ends with laughter (and usually a dramatic last-minute wobble). Perfect for weddings, parties, and events where you want that carefree, let-your-hair-down energy.

HOW TO PLAY EGG & SPOON
To play the Egg and Spoon Race, each player is given a spoon with an egg balanced on top (don’t worry – we use sturdy reusable ones!). Line everyone up at the starting point and, on “go”, race to the finish line while keeping your egg steady. The catch? You have to hold the spoon in one hand and can’t use your other hand to stop the egg from falling. If you drop it, you stop, reposition your egg and then carry on. First person across the finish line with their egg still intact wins! And yes, it’s much harder (and funnier) than it looks.
