Coconut Shy is classic fête fun that brings out everyone’s competitive streak. It’s the kind of game that looks straightforward at first glance… until you realise those coconuts are far sturdier than they appear. Players line up, take aim, and give it their best throw in the hope of sending one tumbling. When it works, it’s incredibly satisfying — and when it doesn’t, well there’s always time for more. And plenty of laughter and encouragement from the sidelines. It’s nostalgic, energetic, and perfect for adding a lively, old-school fairground feel to your event.

HOW TO PLAY COCONUT SHY
To play Coconut Shy, coconuts are balanced on cups, and players are given small wooden balls to throw. Standing behind the line, indicated by the placement of our signature crates and florals, you take aim and try to knock the coconuts cleanly off their cups. Each successful knock-down counts as a win — and if you manage to topple one with a single throw, you absolutely have to do a victory lap of the garden!
WHAT YOU GET: Coconut Shy game including 5 poles, backdrop and sign. 10 coconuts and approximately 18 wooden balls. Bean bags may be provided if unsafe for balls.
